Saving Water

For a dentist and the staff it is important  to wash their hands.  However you would be amazed how many individuals will wash their hands and leave the water  running while they dry their hands.   Dentists and their staff have to frequently wash their hands, it is important to turn the water off when it is not in use.

If you visit a green dentist you may find out that sinks are not installed in every treatment room instead they have a sink installed in one specific location. This conserves on the material used to install and build the sink . This is one way to help the staff members avoiding using too many sinks and accidentally wasting water.
A green dentist may also taking measures to put up a sign such as “Please turn off the water when not in use”. It is estimated that these measures may save up to one gallon per minute.
